This morning, CNN’s reporting on the convicted rapist’s and the grizzly discovery at his house of up to twelve bodies now. In reporting the story, CNN feels it’s necessary to include the fact he was once a Marine. Is it a fact? Yes. Is it reportable? Yes–but what is the purpose of the tidbit in the story? Only they can answer it and the ‘test’ for bias in this case is the ‘how’ FOX news will report it.
